Grand Auction Kickoff Meeting

Get ready to set sail! Planning for the WSF Grand Auction 2026: Woodside Island is heating up and we need all hands on deck to make this island paradise a success!

Please join our Auction Kickoff Meeting this Wednesday, January 14 right after drop-off in the WES library. Come dive in and learn how to get involved with the planning crew, or just drop anchor to share your ideas as we brainstorm ways to bring our Woodside Island theme to life!

All are welcome - we truly value your skills, expertise, creativity, and enthusiasm! If you can't make the voyage to this meeting but still want to help chart our course, please email our Auction Chair, Mia Hall, directly.

Bingo Night is Back!
Thurs., Jan. 29, 2026; 6-8pm; Sellman
Save the date and unload your unwanted gifts! The 6th grade is hosting Bingo Night on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 6-8pm in Sellman. Links will be provided  to pre-order bingo cards and food.

DONATIONS ARE NEEDED
We will be collecting prize donations starting this week in a marked box in the front office. Please consider donating any and all items that could be used as prizes.  This includes unopened toys, movie and gift cards, games, books, etc.  Bingo Night

Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee
Tuesday, January 20; 1:00-2:30pm; Rm. 35
The WESD Citizens Bond Oversight Committee will meet on Tuesday, January 20, to review construction, renovation, modernization, and creek embankment stabilization updates funded by School Bond Measure E. Parents and community members are welcome to attend the open session as an opportunity to address the committee.

2026-27 NEW Student Enrollment     
Registration packets for the 2026-27 school year for NEW students to WES are now available online HERE or below. If you know of new families living within the district boundaries who are planning to enroll for the 2026-27 school year, please send them this information. School tours available for prospective  families HERE. Registration for returning students will be communicated in May.

Thanks to the Foundation, we have a dedicated videographer recording our grade-level musical performances/ concerts and other school events. Check out the videos below: 

Due to the ongoing construction on campus, the area around the former Kinder/TK building will be fenced off for safety purposes. We apologize for the inconvenience but we're working to create beautiful and safe TK and Kinder classrooms for our staff and students! Superintendent Frank will provide facility and construction updates throughout the school year.

No Dogs on Campus
Please do not bring your dogs to campus at ANYTIME — including after-school sports teams/clubs using the WES field, weekends and summer break. This is a school policy and large signs are posted at the entrances to campus. We have had a significant problem with dog waste on our fields and campus. It is also important to provide a clean and safe environment for our students, especially those with allergies and animal fears. Please use our beautiful Woodside trails to walk your dogs. No E-Bikes & E-Scooters On Campus
This is a reminder that e-bikes, e-scooters or any electric vehicles are NOT allowed on the school campus AT ANY TIME. Have questions? We encourage families to attend the  WES Admin Talks on Tuesday, Sept. 2 evening at 6pm in the school library regarding E-bike education and safety. Info HERE.
